Thank you for your interest in sharing your patterns on the sewhooked.org Guest Designer Page.
In order to share your patterns, you need to follow a couple of simple guidelines.
All patterns must be paper pieced and need to fit on one piece of 8 1/2″ x 11″ paper for easy printing. 7″ x 10″ works well for a 5″ pattern, which makes it easier for International quilters to print (their paper is narrower than the U.S. standard). Anything beyond that tends to get cropped when printed.
Please note: you do not have to use my style when designing your pattern, as long as it’s legible and easy for others to follow. Patterns can be submitted with or without seam allowance, and with or without color. Patterns can be in .jpg, .pdf, or .png format.
Please include copyright information and any contact information you might wish to share on your pattern. If you prefer to not share your contact information, I will forward any messages received through sewhooked regarding your pattern(s).
All patterns should be tested before submitting it as a Guest Pattern. Submissions need to be accompanied by a quality sample image of the actual quilt block (photograph or scan) at least 300×300 in size.
sewhooked.org is a free website funded solely by myself and there is no compensation for posted patterns. You keep all copyright for your patterns and only agree to allow sewhooked to post them. I reserve the right to refuse any pattern that I deem inappropriate or not up to the sewhooked standards.

Hi Jen,
I just wanted to ask if the patterns had to be only of Harry Potter or it could be of anything else. Like the pattern I sent you, or is it not up to the sewhooked standards? If it’s not it’s ok. I do understand.
Ana
Hi Ana,
It absolutely does not have to be HP and the pattern you sent is great. I’m still working on my big project and haven’t gotten to it yet, but it’s on my sewing table! If you test it first, please do send me a sample photo and I’ll be happy to add it!
Jennifer
Thank you Jen!
